Nestle - again.

Now nobody shout at me for posting this as the last time I posted about nestle I came under fire about their ethics in poor countries !!!

I bought some milky bar buttons minis yesterday and to my surprise when i got home the mulit-pack felt enormous !!!! Looked on the side and it said average contents 10 packets 205g. I opened it up, counted the bags of buttons - there were 24 !!!!!!!!!! Got my scales out and the whole thing weighed 360g.

After prouncing round the kitchen for abit, I rang nestle customer services to brag and they explained it must have been the weighing machine that was off and suggested I go back to where i`d bought them from and see if there is some more !! The lady then took my details and said that as a Thank you for calling, she`d send me some nestle vouchers for my trouble !!!! woo hoo !

How cool. I wish that would happen to me. However ... I'm not shouting but nestle are a terrible company. I'm not a very charitable person but Nestle's practises make my blood boil. I wish people would stop buying their products.

Just thought i would add my experience recently of Nestle after having found a piece of wood inside the Nobbly Bobbly while eating it. I rang them up (wasnt mad or cross) and just explained what i had found and did they want the code number of the box etc (multipack) so they could investigate how it had happened. She took the details of the product and my details and said thanks for informing us and that was it. No apologies or any mention of sending a voucher for replacement. I have to say it would have been nice to get a few boxes of Nobbly Bobblys for free!! but realistically i would have at least expected a replacement box. The main concern was if it had been a child eating the lolly they could have easily choked on it as it was a sizeable piece, probably about the size of one of those bits of chewing gum you get, not just a splinter.

how long ago was this as sometimes they take a few weeks to investigate it and send a letter with a voucher of explanation
