MFI Kitchen offers? Help!

Options
Im after an MFI kitchen and want to get it as cheap as possible. The one that we want is the second most expensive kitchen in the shop and the worktops alone are going to end up costing about £1800, I'd really like to try and get the price down. Anyone know of any offers or trade discounts?
I know that Howdens is also owned by MFI, do they do the exact same kitchen ranges?
I'd appreciate any help :)

It's the right time of month for a good deal at MFI and it's one of the places you can haggle! They need to hit end of month targets. Make sure the kitchen you want is already heavily discounted in their current sale - if it's not, find another or wait as prices yoh-yo in MFI and it will more than likely come down next time.

Make an impression on the salesperson, be friendly, go away to think it over, then go back and see the same person to make some alterations to the plan - change sink or taps or something and keep asking what their best price is. You should get a better deal.

Or, take your MFI plan to Howdens. They are definately cheaper and you can just pick up any missing bits and pieces, unlike MFI where you may wait weeks. Definately use the MFI fittings list though - you're less likely to miss something out.

  • Thanks for the advice, didn't realise you could haggle there :j

We haggled over stuff coming up to just under £2000 but got less than 10% off... still better than nothing!
If you have a Tesco clubcard and have vouchers saved up you can exchange them for 4* their value in MFI vouchers, we did this when buying some extras for a kitchen which was already fitted in our house and ended up only paying half the amount of our order.
