If you pay in £1,000 a month, your best bet would be to upgrade to a Classic Plus account and earn 4.25%.0

If you go for the classic plus accn you will get 4.25% upto £2500 and then on any amount over that you will get the normal current accn rate.As Biggles said you must pay in 1K per month to get the rate.There is no monthly fee for this account.There might be better accns out there but I only know about LLoyds.Keep the Faith:cool:0

I have the LLoyds current account and I find it to be the best online account I have come across in terms of look, feel and features.
I have tried Nationwide, First Direct, Barclays and Intelligent Finance. none are as good as the Lloyds in my view.0
