I went to my local B&Q today with my mum who is a pensioner and luckily by chance it was pensioners day.
They have leaflets all over the store for Pensioners Wednesdays when you can get 10% off. The offer is available in ALL stores until January 2006, then it is available in select stores only, although it didn't mention on the leaflet which stores.
My mum signed up there and then, showing her bus pass as ID, got a new membership card and off we went for her new front door (£175), some paint for the hallway (£30) and some brushes and bits you always tend to pick up when you go there, saving her nearly £25. Not bad is it?
.....ok, ok I lied a little bit, the stuff was for me not her and she tagged along but I still got the discount coz she loves me, and like she says "See, it is a good idea to bring your mum out for the day, even if it is to carry your stuff", lol.

Hi
We're looking into buying a conservatory early next year. If this offer is still on, do you think if OH took his dad with him that we would get 10% off? It would save us £200
Thanks

We've recently had a new B&Q kitchen installed and saved £300 as a good friend of mine was able to buy B&Q vouchers with 10% off from his work.0

I believe that this a long term on-going promotion. As it seems to be have been going for years.

The way I read the OP, it appears that until January 2006 they are offering 10% for ALL stores whereas the usual wednesday offer didn't cover B&Q Warehouses.
I would assume that come January it then reverts to not being available in the warehouse stores.0
