There's a George in chester, and i've been to the Altrincham "living" one - seemed quite good, although they didn't have anything I wanted :)

We have a new George store in Norwich, I'm taking my first look in there today.

Let us know what it's like Karen, as I'm going there next week.

I'm Karen too! But I'm not 23 boo hoo.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

The George in Manchester is in Cheetham Hill, only 5minutes drive away from the city centre.

I've been in there once, and they have a wider range of stock.

nothing here in oxford......only a tiny asda store about 10 miles away

why won`t asda and morrisons come down south

Both companies started life in Yorkshire. There probably working there way ever southwards but Planning and competition laws are quite tough.

I have a feeling there's one in Croydon, Surrey. But I might be wrong.

Thanks everyone! It seems that Croydon is my nearest one. At least I can get there on a travel card.

I hope they open more soon. I might email them and suggest that they distingush what it a normal asda, and what is a large George store on their website.
