George (Asda) High St Locations

Options
I went to Brighton today, and was amazed that there was a George shop without an Asda attached on the high street. There was far more choice of clothes than my local Asda.

Are there anymore dotted around? I've tried looking on the George website, but they don't even mention the Brighton one. They have 4 in Croydon, Leeds, Preston and Northampton.

Thanks

Close to me in Altrincham, Manchester we have an "Asda Living", which is basically an Asda without the food, not much of a better (albeit larger) range in clothes in my opinion though.

Liverpool has a George Store in the city centre which opened about a year ago. You are right they have a lot more choice. The sales (as in Asda) are also really good, i've picked up lots of shoes there for £3/4 and tshirts for 50p.
  • As you say, we have one in Preston and it is really very good. The sale items are cheap and they also cater for the larger lady!

There's one in Crewe (Cheshire). I've not been to it yet, but my Mum reckoned it was really good

We have a new George store in Norwich, I'm taking my first look in there today.
