MorganStanley now GoldFish now Barclays...

In the last 6 months my Morgan Stanley card has become owned by Goldfish, but is now administered by Barclays instead.

Does anyone know if this will affect my T&Cs or credit limit?

I'm no fan of Barclays so would prefer to go elsewhere, but Cashback cards are drying up now so my switching options are limited. I already have Amex.

Me too, just had the letter.

I get over £100 cashback with Morgan, moved to them from Barclaycard after barclaycard dropped nectar.. So now what???

Are they still going to continue with the cashback??

Are they going to pay out what has already been gained (In my case nearly £100 already)...

If they are not going to continue a cashback, I will probably go to the sainsburys card that offers nectar points?, But would rather have cash.

You would receive a letter from Barclaycard/Goldfish should there be any changes in the T's & C's or credit limit. If you have not received any letter/e-mail from them regarding the changes then everything should be the same as when you opened the account.

Barclays will start chipping away bit by bit at the benefits, first the freephone number will be "rationalised" to "streamline" their call centres.then the cashback will be reduced and finally abolished.Thats just what barclays do hence i have just taken my cashback and closed it goodbye barclays

Do you reckon barclays will still charge the £20 annual fee to ex morganstanley card holders? I remember goldfiish introduced this last year (but didnt charge it to me). I called them the other day to ask if it would apply this year and they said yes...i said i would close my account and go elsewhere if they tried to charge me to which they said "go ahead and close it then"... (this was beforer the announcement that barclays had taken over goldfish/ex morg stanley)

I rang barclays as i have the same situation and apparently you will receive another card from barclays to replace your goldfish card so you will have two cards from barclays

I have both a Morgan Stanley and a Golfish credit card, I think it is best if I close both as they are not needed.

Does anyone know the address I need to write to close them? Would it be the same address?

    Thanks.
