CC I stongly disagree with you on the lookalike thing (see my latest blog). However i do agree with you about Evan as a broadcaster. Personally i think he's one of the best, approachable, chirpy, explanatory. It's a difficult subject to get across and he does it well in my view.

I've been on programmes with him a couple of times (proof we're not the same person) and i find him very good (totally different subject area to me, and one i don't know huge amounts about so its interesting to listen). Also as an ex-Institute of Fiscal Studies man (i think), he must seriously know his stuff!

CC, I think Martin & Evan were seperated at birth, they do look remarkably similar, maybe Martin (or is it Evan, I am confused) got some tips from Michael/Janet Jackson about being 2 people but appearing as one - I think mirrors are involved here. I wander if Martin is a member of the magic circle ? Never noticed it before but Martin Lewis is actually an anagram of Evan Davies.
