It can be really annoying - I have children on both sides of me and numerous toys (not just balls) would land in my garden on a regular basis. I suggest getting a dog! I now have three (large) dogs - one of whom really loves balls so anything landing in my garden has usually been found within minutes - which usually results in his teeth going through said ball very quickly! Its amazing how quickly the balls stop coming into your garden when they get back a ball which has been chewed ...

My cat would go ballistic, he doesn't like pets.

You know what, if they were pleasant, I probably wouldn't have a problem about the balls. Its just that they are rude too.
But they come back so quick, I do wonder if the kids deliberatily:confused:

Ahh so you don't really have a problem with the balls then:confused::D Sadly, we don't get to pich our neighbours and it's all abit random. But take comfort there was a man on another board who had to put with drumming from a neighbour for 4 and Half hours a day...

....so really it's just a few balls and some dirt. It's not all night parties is it?

Kinda, its an inconvience, if they were nice I would be happy to throw them back.

BUT because they are rude & couldn't even be bothered to tell me that the work they were having done on their roof was going to be in my patio & the brickwork at the side & back of my house & my windows & cils & the fence (mine) & everything was going to be covered in it. Because of this I don't feel very happy about constantly putting myself out for them.

It's not an unreasonable attitude to take. In any other environment, you'd be happy doing a favour for a friend, but you're not really going to for a person who isn't even pleasant to you or acknowledges you or is going to appreciate the favour.

How long have the kids been home from school?

    One ball back already.

Maybe you could try having a friendly word with the kids, maybe over the fence. Just to ask them to try and be a bit more careful. If you do with a pleasant demeanor then the parents should have no objection to that.

I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that, I don't know them at all & what I do know of them they seem funny.

Anyway, fence is 2 meters high:rotfl:

Get a trampoline and jump. You'd have to give out sentences in quick bursts though. :rotfl:
