in Credit cards
Ok, just got the new virgin card and transfered the balance from my egg card, but the amount i put down on the form to be transfered and the amount that was in my egg card when the transfer took place was less (i forgot and paid some off) so i am now over £100 in credit on my egg card, how do i transfer this to my normal barclays account without incuring any penalties?

depends on when you got your egg card.
If it was pre May 2005 then I would simply make a balance transfer request from your barclaycard to your egg card using the online system.
If it was post May 2005 then I'm not sure that you can do it fee free but if you can I'm sure that someone will tell you how to2014 Target;

Can you not just spend the £100 on your normal spending which I presume you would do if it was in your Barclays account?

Cheers, i did not explain my self very well (as usual).
I just want to transfer the £100 from my egg card to either my Barclays current account or to the new Virgin card. There is no option on the egg site to do this! I could always go to the cash machine, but that would charge me i guess, not sure as it's my money as i am in credit!
Could i just log on to my virgin card and transfer the money over?
And of course as ejones999 said, i could always spend it

If you go to 'balance transfers', which is under the 'Move Money' section on the left hand side when you are logged in on the Egg website and looking at your credit card account, it will then take you to a page where you have three choices.
The third choice (current account/overdraft) is what you need to choose. The following page will then ask you to provide your bank details - the minimum limit you can transfer happens to be £100.
Confirm that you are happy and it should take three or four days to get to your account.
You should not be charged in any way for this, as Egg have always allowed transfers of this nature. As you are in credit I cannot comment on what the situation is there, so if you are unsure you could either message them or phone them to check.
It is only possible to put it in your bank account - if you want it put towards your Virgin account then you'll have to do that once it's reached your bank account.0 -
Thanks Dave!

The above process I mentioned moves money from your Egg card to your bank account.0

I'll take another look, i am sure that it said to move funds from a bank account to the egg card?

No, it certainly works, as once before I've used it to transfer £600. At first it looks like you're not doing what you want, but it does work!0

I can vouch for the fact it works too! What did I do at work before I discovered MSE?!

It does say though:
