    Thanks. I'm applying through Halifax and will keep going of things dont go great. The thing is, do companies usually check both credit agencies or just one? As you have said, Natwest check both, but do some lenders have their favourite credit scoring company and not use any others?

    Right, just gone through Equifax and the Natwest card account is still not mentioned there, nor my bank account. Strange.

    NatWest said to get the mortgage lenders to request the information, so I hope that my 9 year old current account showing up improves the score since maybe my score was poor since they thought I was financing my life purely through credit cards. I had 8 years of history on the cancelled credit card too
