Shares or cash isa

I have £5000 in a UK Growth Fund Shareclass A accumulation, and I was wondering if I should be considering moving it to a mini cash isa?
Thanks

That entirely depends on you. If you want to have a relatively risk free lump sum, then the cash ISA is better for you. If you want a higher chance of long term growth and are prepared to risk your capital in exchange for those potentially higher rewards, then you should leave it in equities.
Of course, if all of your £5000 is in a single fund, you might want to consider diversifying into a few other sectors to lower the risk somewhat.I am a Chartered Financial Planner

You couldn't actually move that to a cash ISA this year as your sole allowance is only £3600.Debbie0
