Sending scanned docs by email?

Hi, I need to send proof of ID by email, do I just scan them and send as 2 separate attatchments. Is it ok to scan though a photo program and attach as pictures - my epson scan software is [EMAIL="!!!!"]!!!![/EMAIL].

should be ok, be sure to reduce the resolution/filesize to something sensible, 300dpi should be fine saved as a jpeg (.jpg) don't bother getting the best your scanner can achieve.Utinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

Sorry to be thick do I set the resolution before I scan it, i.e, I press scan and then adjust dpi, or after I've scanned it when I'm saving the image.0

Set resolution to 72dpi that will be fine to view on screen and set befoer you scan.
You can resize down after if you have photoshop, etc later, but get it right first time and you wont need to resize.0
