My power pack for my pc has just packed up, it is a 300w power pack would it be ok to replace it with a 400w one or must I stick to 300w.

You can put a 400w in. Try not to go below what is already in, but going above is OK.0

What spec is your PC? You should have no problems with a more powerful psu at all.0

and dont buy some piece of s**t for £10. Its a false economy. Spend about £40 on a 400W PSU. eg http://www.ebuyer.com/product/1299480
