Selling Vehicle

Hey,
Im usure if this is the correct place to put this (sorry if its wrong!)
But I'm hoping to sell my vehicle for £1800 in Wales and I was wondering if anyone knows where the best place is to put this add would be?
I was thinking about e-bay but I've never used e-bay before! Someone did say something that you have to pay to list your item? Does this still apply if the item does not sell?
Look forward to responses

try auto trader, free ads, local paper
yes you have to pay to list on ebay, and if it sells you pay final value fees too0 -
gumtree, piston heads aswell0

If you use autotrader (and others,) don't get caught out by the scammers who have ""3 buyers waiting to buy your car, only £95.00 for the names, just register with us""I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I recently sold a car on ebay, thankfully it was a very straightforward process, offered start price of £1500 with Buy It Now at £1800. Accepted an offer of £1750, winning bidder drove 200 miles to collect the car(cash on collection and was very happy)
So selling on ebay can be a good thing0 -
