Is it a Resolution problem?

Mmm, I have been using Safari for a couple of days. The web pages I call up are slightly too big for the screen. Can't see everything. I tried to make it smaller with the cursor and drag it, but it just moves it, doesn't make it all fit in the page. Where would I correct this in Safari?

Thanks.

Press Ctrl-O or goto view and check your text size settings. Are you using safari on a pc or a mac?

What resolution are you running on your PC? While you have safari open press ctrl and the - key until it fits.

ctrl and minus key isn't doing anything. :(

How do I find out what resolution I am running on my pc?

On your main desktop, right click with the mouse and select properties, display. This will show you the resolution. Otherwise you can goto - start, settings, control panel, display.

    1024 x 768?

I have FF and Safari open at the moment. FF is fine but its Safari that the web pages don't fit on.

Thanks for your help by the way.

And what size monitor do you have?

    If it's a TFT then 15" would run at 1024 x 768
    A 17-18" should run at 1280 x 1024
    and so on.

    Have you tried: http://www.apple.com/support/safari/

In safari on the top bar you should have a menu called view, open this then use the options for reducing and increasing the text size.

Its 17", I have just changed it to what you said. I can now see all of the screen in Safari! Ta! It needs getting used to though, everything is smaller. Good job, I have had eye laser surgery. :D

    Thanks for your help. :)
