hi. I think it is all very resourceful- people have bought the goods that tesco sold so should be entitled to the points. Personally I have not joined in on this due to A- being a vegetarian and B- not really knowing how to redeem the points.
However I will be using my tesco card a bit more in the future. When my points come in from tesco if I dont spend them they will accumilate and I can use them for a holiday, is that right ? and also can I pay for all the holiday or just part ?
Thankyou and good luck to those awaiting the points. It was nice to read about such good natured fun on this thread generated by this.0 -
Opps I posted this already before I found this thread but I've just collected another 9 packs (I know, a measly amount!), a lot of stores seem to be out now.
What I've noticed is you want to go to the stores that don't do home delivery, as everyone is ordering them on-line. Stafford and Telford Extra stores are both out of the 65p packs, but Cannock has some left - but wrongly marked up as the bigger packs - no fooling MSE'rs though!

Expect to see even less beef on the shelves! The Times were covering this today, even quoting a couple of posts from some small website called moneysavingexpert.com
According to the article (sorry can't find a link yet) a Tesco spokeswoman said they'll stop people from buying ridiculous amounts!0 -
Expect even less beef now, this has made it into today's Guardian - the Pass Notes in the G2 Section http://www.guardian.co.uk/g2/story/0,3604,1559359,00.html
All advertising for this site though, and the more MSEers, the better!! :money:0 -
The only problem with MSE getting large is that bargains and loopholes will hang around for much less time.0

Hi in reference to not getting the hol you want , the advice about politely hanging up and calling back another time normally works. I have used this technique with other major companies and it is surprising how different staff react ...i.e......if they are having a good day the they will prob investigate/ take a little more time with your case.
Normally if you sense the person on the other end of the phone sounds negative , chance are you will get a negative response.
Tip I always ask for the operaters full name , after I have given them my name and say I feel much better knowing the person I am talking to!! Sometimes this works , sometimes it does not but do not give up !!!!
I recently had to liase with BT and managed , eventualy to get a quote for repairs down from £150 to £0 just by persisting......
good luck0
