Claims History

I am looking for quotes and have up till now based these on a rough idea of dates times and costs of claims for comparison purposes. I do not have all the details of my claims (not that many, just bad housekeeping!) but assume they are held on a database, as my insurer can get the detail up if pushed. So how do I get access to my history, in order to be scrupulously honest on any new application?

Just call the insurers who dealt with the claims and ask them.

Depends how long ago they were. Most times I've got a quote they only want to know details of any claims in the last three or 5 years.

Insurance claims, assuming you mean either home or motor are kept in a database called CUE.

Normal claims staff will not have access to this database as it is expensive and requires a indivudual license. As such, it is only the Fraud and underwriting departments that will have it.

Your only realy option is to call the companies involved, as others mentioned.
