moneyplant
Please help me! I have a moneyplant and its leaves have turned red. I've been keeping it in the conservatory because I read it likes a lot of sunlight and have only been watering ocassionly.
Have I killed it or is there anything I can do to revive it? I'm not very good with plants, I killed some mini orchids I was given as a present and so thought I would try this plant as it does not need much attention.
Any help appreciated.

Dont worry its a sign that its happy.
The leaves/tips go red when they get plenty of light.0 -
The leaves generally go wrinkly or grow roots if this plant isn't happy. My sister gets hers to flower with lots of light and plenty of water.0

Hi, thanks for the replies.
Forgot to mention the leaves are now a lot thinner than at first- does it need more water? What's the correct amount to give? I don't want to over water as I have become an expert at over watering and killing all plants in my care!

I soak mine once a month. put it in a bowl of water in the morning and remove in the evening. The leaves will plump up nicely.0

Mine sits on a south facing windowsill, so gets lots of light ... I water it when I remember

It seems to thrive on neglect! It got knocked down 2 yrs ago and bits broke off ... I potted them up and they rooted easily so now my aunt, sister & cousin all have a money plant too :T
But generally, where plants are concerned, unless it's on the plot & edible I tend to
forget it's there:rotfl::beer:0
