Accounts for child age 1

I wonder if anyone can advise on a good account for my 1year old son. I want to teach him how to be good with money (not like his parents). So I would like to be able to pay his pennies from his jar into it.
I originally was going to pay pennies into my account and send a cheque off to his child trust fund account. But my bank will only allow me to bank 4bags in a day. So the cost in petrol & time to do this everyday is not cost effective. I have been told that most banks will take unlimited bags if being paid into a child's account. It's probably best he have a bank account as well.
Any advice would be great. Thanks
