Is it just me or have there been absolutely no free screenings in Hull for months now?!
  • Arrrghh all the London screenings for Priceless are gone and I'm desperate to see it. I love Audrey Tautou!

If anyone finds they cannot go...let me know. Although hopefully some more codes will come soon

Can anyone tell me if the film Mongol is subtitled or Dubbed.

    Thanks

    Sarah
IMDB says the language is Mongolian, and usually all foreign language films are subtitled in this country (can't remember ever having seen a dubbed one actually). Hope this helps.

OMG. Just got back from a screening of Mongol, it was seriously the best film I've seen in ages, loved it and would recommend. I think if I were to find fault, and I'm being picky here, is the ending felt a bit rushed. The film was about his childhood and young adult life and influences which shaped him then about 5 minutes before the end it kind of went "and then he had a lot of big battles. The end" but hard to fit everything into 2 fabulous hours.

    10/10 can't recommend it enough!

The Milton Keynes screening started at 8.30, despite it being advertised as a 8.45 start. People were still arriving at 9.00.

I agree with you, nearly didn't go because it started so late and I have to work [strike]tomorrow[/strike] oops later today, but very glad I did. The cinematography is wonderful, the Mongolian steppe is one of the stars of the film and the authentic costumes and battle scenes were awesome. I rarely think well of subtitles and this was no exception - lines and lines of dialogue summed up in a couple of words.
What about the music? Seriously weird but wonderful and I can't get it out of my head. I don't mean that in the Kylie sense.;)
PS I saw it at Cineworld Enfield. It started on time.

OOo I saw it at Didsbury too, was a bit miffed it started early as I like to get myself really settled in before it starts.

I can't get over what an amazing film it was.

Its got 100% on Rotten Tomatoes so far...
One of the reviews amused me: "Mongol is everything that Oliver Stone's Alexander was not" :)

Can anyone get thru to the Disney competition for the Prince Caspian competition, or is it just me who is going round and round in circles ?
I have watched the trailer, installed this adobe thing, but still don't get any 'entry' screen to fill in.
Anyone have any suggestions what I am doing wrong.
Thanks in advance for any help - the free tickets seem to have dried up completely for me. Will have to pay to see Iron man and Indiana films:eek:
