It's a code that is only sent out to a few members, I applied to become one ages and ages ago, I was told I would be put on waiting list but I've never heard back regarding it.

Me too, they emailed me asking if I wanted to be an ambassador, I completed a form online and then they said I would be put on a waiting list that was about 6 months ago! I do regularly get emails from them but by the time I get them I usually have tickets already.

I live in Manchester and do not intend signing upto the £1.50 a text they are offering. Is anyone in Manchester actually signing up to this? If not many sign up maybe they will realise what a bad idea it is.

Went to see Ironman at Bolton tonight. Great film, I would give it 9/10 and would recommend it and agree about Robert Downey Jr he was great for the part.

we enjoyed ironman aswell 8/10 i think. I couldnt help looking at gp with the red hair she reminded me of kerstin dunst and i started to wonder if she would have been better in that role. RDjr was really good in this role.

went to see this at the O2 last night- very organised venue made everyone fill the rows so any latecomers would not disturb people already seated. took my friends 13 yr old son to see it and our general opinion was WOW!!!! what a fantastic film so much so that when people started to clap at the end ( a very american practice) I couldn't help but join in. effects were brilliant action was there from the start- ok hard to believe he built all that in a cave but who cares!!! 2 hrs of excellent Marvel action and I would see it again my score 10/10 if I could give it more I would. and Robert Downey Junior looked hot!!!!!

Saw Iron Man at the Vue O2 - it was great. When I got off the bus at North Greenwich I noticed all these people streaming out of station. I started to do a little jog, thinking they might all be heading to watch Iron Man. Well I was wrong - there was some Dancing on Ice Tour going on .

I love the O2. They apparently had 3 screens showing it (I thought it was 2, but the usher told me 3!). When we got there at about 6.45, the ushers were holding up the line and I heard the woman say there were only a couple of seats at the front left . I thought 'here we go, a wasted journey', but then we were directed to screen 3 and it was completely empty! Really big screen, must sit about 300 people. The film ended up starting at about 7.30, filling it up with the latecomers, but it was ok, it is so comfortable I didn't really mind (also meant it was a staggered finish with the other screens at the end - so no queue for the toilets at the end - always a bonus at the end of a long film). Also had adverts at the beginning which was a nice change from the immediate start of the Seefilmfirst screenings.

Anyway really enjoyed the film and grateful for the opportunity to see it, Robert Downey Jr was excellent, 9/10 from me. :T

Hello Ianbroadhurst - wear a beret and macintosh and I will approach you.

I will ask you if the geese are flying. You will say you do not know as you are a chicken keeper and have no knowledge of geese.

That way we will know that we are fellow MSE - ers.

But we will tell no-one else. :silenced:
