Another one from Sheffield last night. We had a couple of the old dears sat next to us who we dubbed Mary Whitehouse 1 and Mary Whitehouse 2... tutting and the like :D

We saw Superbad the other year... it's basically just a (...see I was going to say more mature, but it isn't really...) adult version of that.

Very childish and slapstick but the cinema as a whole seemed to like it and I found myself laughing along with them.

7 out of 10 for me.

As for the fullness, we went to see Rock N Rolla the other week at Cineworld in Sheffield and they put us in one of the bigger screens upstairs for that and it was still pretty full. It amused me to see some of the same faces last night as I'd seen the other week :D

:rotfl:We were sat three rows up from the front on the left hand side and had probably a 40yr old couple next to us, who found the film reasonably engaging, but the two rows infront were full of 60/70yr old women who didn't laugh once (I assume they fell asleep as I kept seeing their heads fall to the side). I wonder if people just head to any screening that's on, because they surely couldn't have known what kind of film Pineapple Express was!

I have come to the conclusion that some members are chatting on the codes thread simply to be ignorant. It is one thing for a newbie to do it but when you see a long registered member doing it, there is only one conclusion to draw and that is that they are taking the urine

  • Maybe not all of them, Woody, but yeah some of them have definitely been acting suspiciously...
I remember one repeatedly posted on the thread and having been told several times why he shouldn't, he said "You mean that because of this post you'll all get email notifications?! ha ha ha..."
But I think some of them are genuinely, if foolishly, trying to be helpful when they say there are no tickets left in a specific location etc...
