I know this is pedantic but.......

You complain about people posting on the Code only thread comments with no codes, but where is the code in your post ??
You tell people to stop posting "sorry" on the code only thread, then you say "sorry I had to post this" - no you didn't. You chose to post it, no one forced you.

I couldn't give two hoots if people in their enthusiam/disappointment post comments on the wrong thread ( or heaven forbid a competition to get a free cinema ticket).
What really annoys me is people posting on the code only thread criticising others for posting there, not adding a code themselves, and then adding the phrase "I will delete this post later" as though that is THEIR ticket to break the rule they are just quoting !!!!!
Why is "No tickets left at Skegness" such an unforgiveable crime, but "stop chatting" isn't
Those people who subscribe to the code only thread and get emails and/or text messages will surely get them which ever "non-code" message is posted.

Sorry to let rip, but I have had a couple of bad days, and getting fed up with "nit-pickers" generally - not Webkami in particular.
I just wish people would chill out a bit. There are worse things in life that someone posting a non-abusive comment on the wrong thread.

I would like to add that I have managed to get Free Preview tickets to 2 films - thanks to ALL posters on both threads. They are the first ones I have managed to get in months, so really looking forward to them.

I will be back to my laid back apathy soon - I hope !

P.S If posters wish to "inform" newbies that they have broken such a major taboo, why don't you pm the "criminal", rather than adding to the offence ??

does anybody know why there are not many screenings for the south of scotland? Their used to be some in Kilmarnock I am sure why havent their been any more?

Thanks Sparky...I have now manageed to get the tickets for 11th July and now got 2 spare tickets for 12th of August GetSmart screening at Greenwich. Please let me know if someone need the ticket, I will send out the link or the SMS code.

I just can't seem to get any tickets now-a-days!! Are all the screening defintely full or are they not all released yet, as I get to SFF pretty early when they are announced but never any luck.

If anyone has spare tickets for Hellboy 2, Get Smart or the Rocker, I 'd be interested and any tips on getting tickets, they always say screening full!! Bah!!!

can I post this in the Free Tickets No discussion thread...as this is to offer 2 tickets...I saw there are couple of posts for winning 2 tickets...here am offering 2 tickets for sure to the first one to claim ti...so dont find any wrong reason to post this

It's best not to do that, we're not supposed to offer tickets on MSE, you could offer them on http://fmuk.dailyforum.net/index.php though

I know where you are coming from but if you just offer 2 tickets in a thread where everyone excepts codes to lots of tickets when logging in, you might not be best liked by some people. And MSE does not like swapping in general, whereas FMUK does - thanks for the heads up, sparky61!
