I got a classic email from a buyer last night (oh what a ebay night it was ).
Sorry I have never seen paypal or ebay listing " pop it on your local national express " as a delivery option. And the buyer in question does only live 165 miles away. But bless her I might just get the item a bus pass tell it what routes to change at and risk the chargeback. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
So any other strange requests from buyers or sellers ?
have purchased the following item on eBay from you. Please send me the total amount I owe you.
Can you please confirm postage for this item. I don't know whether you can send it by bus. You used to be able to but I'll leave it up to you. Thanks

I just showed my other half the email, he was rolling with laughter. We both thought what would we have for proof of delivery - a bus ticket :rotfl::rotfl: .0

I don't think this is at all a suitable venue to repeat some of the questions I've been asked (shudder).

Thats a classic lol! The strangest ebay request I've had ( well one of them) was from a guy who had just bought a pair of shoes from me, he emailed to ask if I would be prepared to sell him the stockings I was wearing in the listings photo, and not to wash them, seal them in a bag, and he would pay me an extra £10 !!!!!! I emailed him back and said that I knew there was a market for that sort of thing on ebay, but I was not one of 'those' sellers! He paid for shoes and left me good feedback anyway!!!
P.S. Mind you i sometimes look at the washing basket and think ' theres a lot of money going to waste in there 'lol!
I mean girls, would you offer to pay a man for his ( using ebay type listing now) un WORN socks?? or his undies? the mind boggles

A lady complained that she was going to be at work when her postman delivered the parcel. She sent me her works address and mobile number to pass onto her postman so he could deliver to her work instead.
I live 300 miles away from her, so I've no idea how she thinks I know how to contact her postman
Here I go again on my own....0 -

Ya'll don't laugh too much - it shows ignorance.
You used to be able to put a parcel on a bus and the recipient collect the parcel from the bus at any of it's following stops!
Of course, that was in the 'good old days' when you could trust people and they were honourable; before bombs on buses and todays level of low morals.
I actually find it disappointing that we are at this level of distrust; not laughable. You don't stop laughing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop laughing" Large print giveth - small print taketh away. "0 -
Ah, Happy Saver, cheer up, it is funny really.
And as for you Love Bargains - AAAAGHHHH, shudder.I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.
Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.0
