Address book files in Outlook (Office Prof. 2003)

Hi folks

My wife has got Office Professional 2003, running Outlook Express.

She runs her own business and would like to seperate out her contacts into seperate folders, rather than them all being together as they are at the moment. We could do this in Outlook Express 6.

Is this possible, and if so, how do we go about it ?

Many thanks

Just to clarify "Office Professional 2003, running Outlook Express" do you actually mean you're now using Outlook 2003? (saying Outlook Express, which is not a part of office, is a very different thing to saying Outlook)?

    Quite agree!

Firstly use Outlook and not Outlook Express for starters, it's part of Office Pro 2003 and has hundreds more features than Outlook Express.

Now, in Outlook (not Outlook Express) turn on the Navigation Pane (from the View menu).

You can add as many contact "folders" as you like. Right click the Contacts (from the nav. pane) and choose New Folder, you'll get options to add a new folder containing Contact records.

Or you can categorise contacts using the multitude of features on the contact form, personal, business etc.
  • Apologies for potentially confusing you all.

It is Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 that is currently running.

Now sorted, one happy bunny now filing her contacts, so thank you.
