You could start with telling us what you need help with first?

You need some forum software and you need somewhere to host it as a minimum.

I would say it is not something to attempt unless you have a small amount of experience with websites.

Or go to https://www.conforums.com and do it there! That method is dead easy.
Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.

Thanks for your help but basically I want to create a forum where people can contribute to topics posted on the forum.

I have a basic experience of the websites and I have got the domain\hosting package.

The help I need is how to create the forum, just look at moneysavingexpert forum, I intend to add google adverts and private adverts to my forum.
I checked the https://www.conforums.com website and the forums are dead easy to create which is good but the only problem with is for example if your domain is abc, then it appear on the as https://www.abc.conforums.com which I don't want. I want just www.abc.com

Any help will be appreciated and thanks alot for your assistance.:rotfl:

Does the host you have chosen support PHP? If so Id recommend phpBB which is free. The software that MSE uses is vbulletin, very good, but it isn't free. I'd start by reading the help pages for phpbb here and if you have any issues post here or on their help forums and I'm sure someone will be able to help.

You could point your https://www.abc.com at https://www.abc.conforums.com

If it's just a standard forum type thing you're after, if you've got Cpanel or whatever with your hosting there should be a link to install phpbb etc in the Cpanel.
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it
