Does anyone know of an insurance policy where I can insure my daughter as a 2nd driver just in the holidays, e.g summer, Easter?

NU certainly allow you to add on extra drivers for a short period of time. However the last time I did it with NU it cost £30 for a week so you might want to balance that up with what it would cost to have your daughter on all the time.0

I am with Direct Line and I have just added my daughter on to my policy for a month until she goes back to uni. It cost £33 for a month. They have just sent out a temp certificate of ins. HTH0

I'm doing the same with Direct Line, but note that they seem to charge nearly £10 for every amendment to the policy so that's another thing to 'factor in' when you get the quote just for holidays ...JanCee wrote:I am with Direct Line and I have just added my daughter on to my policy for a month until she goes back to uni.
