My number one is defiantly the Skipton BS, light Rockabilly soothing my nerves while the 0845 phone number empty my small pennies jar.
The worst must be Tiscali with the stupid Electro pop headache on the dreaded 0871.
The longest running tune must be on the NatWest lines, I think it was there in 2000 when I opened the account.:rotfl:
What’s yours?

If someone attempts to put me on hold, I tend to hang up.
"It breaks my heart to part with my money" - who sings that? - sounds like 'Country'!Imprudent granting of credit is bound to prove just as ruinous to a bank as to any other merchant.

Last year my BF's dad won a spa/golf weekend for 4 and invited us along, and while me and the not-really-MIL had our lovely massages and treatments, this nice quiet relaxing music was playing. Then few weeks later I had for the first time to ring A&L, the same music was playing, ahh I was a happy bunny (luckily was only on hold for a minute, so I remained happy...)0

HSBC were playing the Scissor Sisters today. Not sure if that's a point for or against...
Halifax were playing NTL's old hold music the other day, which brought back horrid memories of waiting to speak to some pillock at the other end reading off a script, and therefore made me want to smash everyone and everything in a five mile radius with a giant hammer. So, yeah, I'm kinda happy I've left them now.0
