Yes you are all going to think I'm really dumb but, I have no idea how to make a pic small enough to be an avatar for this site 
I know I already have one but I want to change it and have no idea how I did it the first time

START > Programs > Accessories > Paint.
Load any picture you want.
Image > Stretch/skew to resize the image
Image > Attributes to reduce the size.
