I recently sold two glass domes on ebay, i received an email from the buyer today, saying they were smashed on delivery i sent them special delivery, with fragile written on the box, do i refund him the money? then put a claim into royal mail or do i give him the receipt to claim himself

no you refund then claim,writing fragile is not equivelent to proper packaging0

It was packaged properly with bubble wrap etc0 -
Normally photographic evidence of the breakage is sufficient for the seller.My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0
