I recently sold two glass domes on ebay, i received an email from the buyer today, saying they were smashed on delivery i sent them special delivery, with fragile written on the box, do i refund him the money? then put a claim into royal mail or do i give him the receipt to claim himself

    no you refund then claim,writing fragile is not equivelent to proper packaging

    It was packaged properly with bubble wrap etc

    Normally photographic evidence of the breakage is sufficient for the seller.
    My TV is broken! :cry:
    Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j
