help for homeowners

Just heard our illustrious leader, GB on the radio saying he is going to put in place measures to help, not only those struggling in the wake of the "credit crunch" who are finding it hard to remortgage, but also those FTB trying to get on the ladder.
Anyone any ideas what they may be as apart from give everyone enough money to buy a house I can't see what he or the government are going to do worth a 5hit.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    £1500 on shared ownership.

Funnily enough, with ALL that help I'm still not rushig to the estate agents with glee. LOL. I think I ilve in a ifferent world to him, and comparatively, DH and I have a good deposite saved and have an above average income so, while £1,500 is lovely, its really like the free prawn crackers with a Chinese takeaway...lovely to have but makes little impact on the cost of the meal

He hasn't even told the lenders yet - I think he's expecting them to come up with something.

Whatever it is, it won't address the problem.

He'll need to come up with about £40k package for a deposit followed by I'd say about £500 a month to help you pay for it! - not very likely!

Oh and also need to get everyones wage up to the national average...

It's a £1,500 discount on shared ownership loans.

Given that the average house price fell by £5k in the last month alone, I can't see that this is going to change anything.

Perhaps he could come round and advise me on my new kitchen plans. That would help me.

Perhaps he should resign as that will help more people and take the rest of the useless parasites with him. With the money we save on not paying these wasters there would be more than £1500 each to put in :-)

Before leaving, the minimum wage should be raised by whatever the HPI is every year not the RPI or any other useless metric.
