When I was at school I won the Holocaust memorial project - everyone came in with spectacular models (prob helped by parents!) and I had written a poem the night before it was due in and I won!!

I had spent 3 hours on it, and it was quiet a good one I thought, but was shocked to win!! quiet little me who hated drawing attention to myself!!

It got printed in a jewish magazine (the people who judged it were an elderly couple who had been involved in it all when they were children, so that meant a lot to me) and it got published in a poetry book aswell (my uncle arranged it all for me) ooh...and it was on display in the local library!!

I'm quite proud of that actually!!

I am sad and bitter towards Glamour not the prize winners!! been sad enough to check back to page 28, I entered at the same time as sassi and ClarkeEJ and before muchkin but they missed me out!!!

That is a very kind offer thank you, but I didn't actually enter for that anyway so would feel a bit of a fraud (even though this sounds much nicer than the almond which is why I didn't enter!)
