It will be strange if it isn't first come first served as was originally said, Toni was even told she had won the anna sui perfume because she was 73rd on the list, something odd going on if they've changed the rules

Grr... I really don't wanna be grumpy and ungrateful about this... but it p*sses me off when I emailed twice to enquire about it being a prize draw or an 8am scramble and was categorically told that 'it's first come first served'.

Thought it was fishy that I didn't get them bloody eye pencils considering there was 500 of 'em, they weren't that popular and I was back on here posting by 8.01am having already entered :rotfl:

We dont know how they are sending out the emails ..they seem to be doing it randomly. There must be lots of people to get through. Be patient guys.

Im 100% certain its first come first served, i have email to say i was 73rd for anna sui, its a few pages back on this thread, im certain phoebe is just sending out so many at a time as she said she was testing the emails were going out yesterday to munchkim, im certain they are not going against their terms and conditions especially after ITV got blasted last week, i suggest rather than get upset, just ring her tomorrow, i have a number if u wish , or email her with your specific issue, seriously say my sister won after entering at 08:25 yet u didnt when u entered 08:00, she is approachable and has been really nice to all us who keep bugging her. xxxxxx

Dear Toni, I just checked with our technical team and they told me that you will be entered in the draw from the second you press the 'submit' button. And another bit of good [URL="news:"]news:[/URL] I just checked the list of winners for today and you are one of them! (the 73rd person to enter I think). The list will be sent onto the magazine now who will contact the beauty brand, and it could take a little time to send out the prizes, so please bear with them!

Now please don't shout at me if I am being thick here - not very techie - but if loads of people are all trying to enter at 8am, could there possibly be some sort of overload problem where some of the entries don't go through properly at 8 so they don't register as having gone through that early? Maybe the system can only cope with x number of people submitting at once?

Not at all techie so if there's a way you can tell that it's worked I would be really interested to know (if it can be explained in words of one syllable or less...!)

If I win the straightening balm I will donate to a non-winner with straight hair as realised I only straighten my (very) curly hair about once a year so a bit wasted on me!!! (HAVEN'T HAD WEM - DON'T WORRY!!!)
