Removing bath sealant etc

Options
Anyone know any clever way of removing sealant around baths, sinks etc?

The last owner of our house made a real pigs ear of putting the sealant around the cracks - absolutely no finesse at all.

I'd like to remove and start again!

Yes cut around it with a stanley knife then use a small chisel to scrape it out then redo using a fugicidal low modulus silicone.

Be careful with knife and chisel please.

Recently I was in Robert Dyas and they were selling this gadget to remove sealant quickly and easily, plus you ran it over the new sealant and it gave a perfect seal and did the corners etc. It was £9.99 and I was very tempted to get one, as I have a lot to do when I come to do my bathroom.

I have bought a few of these JML gadgety things and I have to say they have all been very good.
