Really? mine seems to magically disappear when i open the oven door?
half the time theres one missing by that point already as the mixture before its cooked is pretty tasty too! :rolleyes:Time to find me again0 -
For yoghurt I've been using the Value/Basic UHT milk 44p per litre, and you don't have to warm it first. I've got the Lakeland Bulk Yoghurt maker.
For flapjacks I have a recipe from a Scotts Porridge Oats packet, but I am at work at the moment so will have to post it later - it comes out firm and soft - not crunchy.

These flapjacks are brilliant . Really quick to make. Also agree with the comments on twinks hobnobs. Trouble is both of these are so delicious they just go (straight on the hips!).0

being a NZer, a yogurt maker is nearly as common as teabags in the cupboard lol.....i use a branded dried yogurt powder that you add to cold water and then leave in the same branded yggurt maker overnight - can get any kind of flavour or unflavoured yogurt to taste - prefer the live cultured plain as then i can add it to recipes etc.....
oh and another great thing, esp with summer coming up (at some point I hope) you can also use your yogurt to make frozen yogurt (ice) pops - kids love them and you can flavour them with what you want.....pour the mix of yogurt and flavour (strawberrys are yummy) into those plastic icepop moulds with the stick in the lids type thing and then freeze.....healthy for the kids too'Normal' is a dryer setting.0 -

Just to let you all know that I made my first batch of yoghurt yesterday (using the electric y-maker that was recommended). It is fantastic! The kids scoffed loads of it for breakfast this morning with mashed banana and honey.
Can't make any flapjacks yet because my oven has died. Currently bidding for one on Ebay.
