Why are they all better in Moneyfacts than on moneysupermarket.com???

They shouldn't be. Might be best if you give an example. I don't often use these comparison sites. The information at the beginning of this site usually tells you the best rates plus the things to look out for like short terms bonuses etc.0

You might be interested in the FSA's website as they don't have any axe to grind apart from giving accurate information and they aren't commercial. http://www.fsa.gov.uk/tables0

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has a number of these comparison sites bookmarked. They are often slightly different in the "extra" information they give besides the headline rates. As blf points out, some can often give out new rates before they are listed elsewhere.Imprudent granting of credit is bound to prove just as ruinous to a bank as to any other merchant.
