I want to close a cc and apply for a new one. How long from closing a cc account will it take to show up when searched on my credit files?

Depending on when they report to credit ref agency, id say allow at least 2 months.I came into this world with nothing and I'm gonna leave with nothing.0

You can query some* information on Experian & Equifax £2 statutory reports for up to 90 days.
If time is of the essence, order a copy(ies) and keep ringing once per week or so to check the current status of the account.
Don't use the 0870 numbers on the reports...find alternatives on www.saynoto0870.com
* Excludes new accounts added, searches made, etc since the report date.0 -
I'd say allow 2-3 months.
You have to allow the lender time internally to update their systems.
Then they have to update the CRAs.0 -
