Thank you all...
So you're saying that since the size was quoted in sizes that they are women's jackets because men's would still be quoted in inches (or cms)?
If the offerer had described them as well as quoting sizes, such as "A delightful deep pink with fake fur collar and cuffs..." Depends on how cheap the jacket is... most cheap clothes run rather small so you may need to size up.

I can't believe how selfish you are.
Fancy hiding a watermelon under your jumper.:DDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
It's a function of my medication, honest.
But my waistline is shrinking again now, albeit slowly... down by two belt notches since that picture...
And to stay on topic - I've emailed the jacket person (via Freecycle) to ask if the jackets are indeed fro women, or men, or are unisex. They're blue and cream - and I've always liked the Wedgewood coloursHi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. nabowla wrote:Not always!!! I'm a size 30" but a rather large cup size so have to buy size 16 tops to make sure that they do up. Mind you, I don't suppose that Squeaky will have to worry about the finer points of back vs cup size when choosing a jacket :-)
the sizing of clothing isnt the same as bra size, its the measurement around your fullest part, so even though your bra size may only be 30", you prob need a size 16 (38" bust) to fit around the fullest part
clothing is made to fit a B cup, anything over that, and you have to go up dress sizes accordingly. or go to somewhere like bravissimo, who make tops for ladies with curves
