CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND A HOTEL IN NEW YORK WHICH IS QUITE CENTRAL TO ALL THE MAIN (SHOPPING )ATTRACTIONS --BUT ALSO GOOD VALUE

we are going to Wellington on 7th ave, very large hotel between times sq and central park... looks lovely,, costing just over £100 a night for a nice double room.. pm me if you want the number of who I booked it with.

Try "The Thirty-Thirty Hotel", not far from Empire State in a good Midtown location. I've not stayed there myself yet, but have heard they offer a good balance between comfortable rooms and a good price.

The BelNord is cheap, but is situated upper west side, next to the park. It is quite a trek downtown to the shops, but you might find that the cost of a subway or cab ride each day works out cheaper than paying the extra costs of a midtown location.

Of course, if saving money is a priority and you dont mind roughing it a little, there are loads of hostels dotted around Manhattan.

we're going in a few weeks time and have booked the americana inn, its no luxury but its had some great reviews on tripadvisor.com very central and cost us only £50 a night inc tax

Further our https://www.chelsealodgehotels.com further out of the city but good value.

Red Roof hotel 1st choice as everything is in walking distance saving time on the subway.
