You can put an advert on their website for free. Just done this for my boyfriend's plastering business.0

Hi Kelly
I suggest that you phone round some of the advertisers in your business field and ask them if it is money well spent.

You can get an enhanced listing on Yell.com for a year at a cost of around £360baldly going on...0

Thanks for your replies, I have listed with Yell.com and it has paid for itself, I paid £195 for two years after a bit of haggling that was for an enhanced listing.
I also decided to go with Touchlocal.com at a cost of £295 & Vat for a year, suprising how much you can negotiate with these companies. Just hope it works  (will let you know)

you would be better spending that money on some good seo.
You took the words right out of my mouth! I have wasted money in the past on the company called applegate (.co.uk) for yearly advertising subscriptions. Don't ask me why I did this twice
Anyway, nothing beats getting your company website on the first page of google in the natural listings. 'Touch local', 'city visitor' and 'youfindus' just annoy people as they usually appear in the top listings, but when you click on them, show a load of (sometimes not relevant) adverts making the visitor even more confused!0 -
If you sign-up for their free service I garraunttee you will receive at least 1 call a week until they finnally understand the meaning of the phrase 'phuck off and stop harrassing me'.Never Knowingly Understood.
