  • Iam a tmobile customer and they are not very helpful. My phone has been cut off because this con has phoned me and it has cost me £40 on top of my bill!!!! They have told me to phone these cons but how am i suppose to do so when i cant use my phone as it will cost more and i don't have a land line. Thank you for ur post it has really helped me. Much more than tmobile have. I have read that one of you are thinking of moving from bvodafone to tmobile however i would not agree that you should do this. No phone company are going to be any help as they have the loop hole that this is nothing to do with them. I dont know what i am going to do the only thing is to stop contract all together and change to pay as you go!
  • I am writing in response to the statements included in this blog. My name is Morris Gibb and I am the General Manager at Expanding Vision Ltd. I would like to point out the following. All the services run by Expanding Vision are only chargeable when a consumer subscribes to a service. This is usually done by a keyword (usually ok or yes) sent to the shortcode of that particular service. This information is obtainable from our customer services department and all information we have can be verified by the Mobile Network Operators.
We also clearly state on all advertisements, the service, the cost, how to cancel the service and how to contact us. We have been running these services successfully for a number of years and we have thousands of satisfied clients. If any individual has any queries or questions then we can be contacted directly at customerservices@expandingvision.co.uk .
I would also like to point out that Expanding Vision Ltd are NOT Mobile CRM, as has been claimed. Expanding Vision run the customer care services for Mobile CRM, but are not and never were the same company, regardless of information other companies may state. We run customer care for several companies and are in no way related to these companies other than the customer care we run for them.

I trust this clears up some of the misunderstandings I have read on this blog.

Morris - Sadly your claim is incorrect/or at best incomplete. It is all too easy to be hijacked by these services. I was charged without my knowledge - (and I know I am not alone), either before, during or after the initiial charges, not with any agreement, acceptance, or approval. You state that the information is kept in your customer services department, so if this is the case, post the address - here for all to be able to see with the geographical phone number of your company so that my solicitor can contact you with a view to find out who has used my number fraudulently with a view to stopping it happening again.

The problem regarding your adverts stating cost, how to cancel etc is that this is only of any use to subscribers who subscribe, not for those of us who are targeted and charged without prior knowledge.

The system as it currently stands is to get the costly phone number of Mobile CRM to contact to discuss the issue. I am sure you believe you are only providing a service for those who want it, but you are also charging those of us who are receiving unsolicited charges.

I agree Expanding Vision Ltd are not Mobile CRM, there is no such company listed as Mobile CRM, exactly who they are remains a mystery and this is wrong. Go speak to 2Ergo Ltd, they are the ones who advise that you are one and the same.

Incidentally to get in touch with you there is no option from the networks to go to you direct, you have to deal with Mobile CRM and I can tell you that not only are their staff extremely rude, but are also are proud of the fact that they have featured on BBC Watchdog - something I was not aware of until they rather proudly announced it this is a ridiculous accolade to be proud of, and something I am sure you are not wanting to be party to?

This area is unregulated, I am sure you are making a living from it, but please see the other side of it, and perhaps since you feel so strongly about being tarred with the same brush - do something about it.

For those of you who signed my previous petition trying to get this unregulated area of commerce regulated please consider signing
