Tax Credits - when's the new year start?

Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me when the new year for the Child Tax Credits starts/started....
I haven't been receiving anything for the most of last year due to previous overpayment, but I though payments would start again in April.
I haven't even had a letter or anything from them saying that I am or am not going to get anything....
Any advice please???

Started 6th april - call them to find out if they have a date when your payents will resume.0
