Seems pretty good, especially if you haven't got a lump sum to put into an ISA...............but can anyone find a better deal?

I was thinking of going for this one instead of using my A&L one. I like that you can vary the standing order to what ever amount you have available to save that month and still invest the full £3600 in the tax year0

But, the one drawback is (which i've since found out) you have to open a First direct '1st Account' too, in order to qualify.0

Regular Saver ISAs can lose you money. After your first £300 deposit you are losing tax relief on the £3,300 not in the ISA.0

I wouldn't be for me as I don't have the full amount to add to the ISA in month one I would be using a "normal ISA" as a regular saver anyway. Having it as a regular saver would force me to make sure I put something in every month and the rate is slightly better than where I would have gone. But agree that if you have the full amount already you should look else where0 -
I have had a Regular Saver ISA at 7% for the last two years with First Direct, (transfering each one out on maturity) and I was looking forward to doing another one this year but the have stopped offering them.
Does anyone know of a similar regular saver ISA with a decent rate? Best I can find is Santander at 3.2%. My other option is that Norwich & Peterborough do a 5% tax free regular savings account for families, as long as you have children under 16, but it's not an ISA.
Cheers!0 -

principality BS do a 4% reg saver isa.0 -
I think FD still offer a 5% non-ISA regular saver for their current account holders.0

Principality Building Society's 4% Regular Saver ISA has been withdrawn as it's no longer showing on their website. First Direct 5% Regular Saver (non ISA) might be the next best thing, but you must hold First Direct's 1st account to be able to operate the account.Money is like a bird.....if mishandled, will simply fly away....0
