Citibank Balance Transfer con?

I recently applied for the Citibank 5% for life of balance transfer Platinum Mastercard. I have only one other credit card which i wanted to transfer, i earn quite a high wage and i have no CCJs etc etc.
I received my Citibank card with a whopping limit of £2250 of which only 90% can be used as a transfer. I rang citibank to get this adjusted but you have to wait over 90days before this can be done and youve guessed it, thats when the 5% balance transfer offer ends!
I shouldnt complain too much i guess, i've moved £2000 across to my citibank card with no charge and have it at a low rate until paid off. The money was for an engagement ring, i wrote a creditcard cheque to myself from my MBNA card and used the cash to put towards paying for the ring (therefore avoiding a 4% charge from ring merchant) and then asked for a £4000 credit card tranfer to Citibank. So now im stuck with £2000 on my MBNA, wish i had transfered that to my Egg at 0% last month now
Oh well, just thought i would let people know.
