If you've got a Dunelm Mill nearby, they sell muslin.I got some last week.It was 137cm wide, and was £ 1.99 a metre.I think they do online shopping as well.HTH:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0

Hi Chimera
As this has dropped down the board, I've merged it with another thread on buying muslin, so you can see the previous discussion.

I'm probably being incredibly thick here but as my babies are now well into their 40's perhaps I can be forgiven
I ued to use Terry towelling nappies for my 2 babies back in the 60's when there were no such things as disposable nappies but as the name suggests these were made of towelling not muslin so what the heck are babies muslin squares?
I need some more muslin for my jam and chutney and marmalade making and bought the last lot on Amazon. I now need more and am tempted to buy a roll of it from Winware http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0049TCKRY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A19UIDKN48TX5E but it is quite expensive at £13.49 but that is for 5 metres. How does this price compare with say Dunelm - does anyone know please?0 -
Baby muslin squares were used as a liner inside terry towelling nappies.
Dunelm Mill has muslin squares for jelly making on the website:

Jmm marketing sell Muslin. It isn't a lot cheaper than Amazon but I think it is wider.

They don't charge delivery on orders over £10 but they do charge a small charge for credit cards so you are better off paying by debit card if you can.
I have ordered from them before and found them quite good.0
