There's something not right about this.
Freepost is a service that is free to the sender, but the tab is normally picked up at the delivery point. So how can this work? If I use one of their envelopes to send my Mum a letter, then in theory she will have to pay to receive it. I can't see Royal Mail swallowing this...................0 -
I gave it a go and got an email saying thisA huge amount of people have registered for our free envelope offer. As a result we are now staggering the dates which we send out envelopes to new subscribers. You will start to receive your free envelopes from January 08.
Hmmm, seems like on of those things that has you sign up, then hopes you will forget, or get so fed up with the junk mail you de-register before you get the freeby. My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

im going to be honest and say this is a fake.
basically freepost envelopes are generally used for returns. the way it works is the delivery office for the return address sorts these letters seperatly and counts/weighs them and charges the company to their account. then these are sent on delivery as normal.
that delivery office only has access to the set accounts for their delivery office
if you could use the envelopes for anywhere then they couldnt be charged. the only way they could do it is prepaid envelopes as in having proper postage on the envelope but again not really practical in this sense0 -
Signed up for this at least 6 months ago and never recieved any envelopes'They only had one cow!'0
