Dvla Sorn
Just been talking to a mate who owns a vehicle which he's been doing up slowly.
He bought it at the start of december, and when delcaring SORN online received this standard cornfirmation email:
"THIS IS AN AUTOMATED EMAIL - PLEASE DO NOT REPLY AS EMAILS RECEIVED AT THIS ADDRESS CANNOT BE RESPONDED TO.
Confirmation of Statutory Off Road Notification (SORN)
Thank you for using DVLA Vehicle Licensing Online. Your SORN declaration has been successful.
Reference Number: 9050 4584 8687 ****
Vehicle Registration Mark: L294***
Application made on: 22/12/2007 23:59:22
SORN Period: 12 months "
I was just talking to him when he said he'd not received a letter by post (v5 is in his name) so I did an online check and it's showing as unlicenced:eek:
Told him to get on the blower asap to the DVLA before they fine him :rolleyes:
