Why does my ironing board cover get so dirty when I only ever iron clean clothes on it?

Where do you store it? Is it in a cupboard where it could get dusty?
My cover needs a wash every so often cos I store it in the cupboard beside the boiler.If it was easy, everyone would do it!0 -
