Please please help me, my sofa is about 18 months old and all paid for now, my mum came around yesterday, fell asleep on it after just dying her hair and now i have a BIG brown dyed patch,
I tried NOT to be mad but it didnt work, lol
Anyone have any ideas about how to remove it?
My home insurance ran out last month so i have just renewed tonight, i know i am goin to have to leave it a few months before i try and claim tho, i would rather try some other ways of getting it off,
Any tips? i am desperate!

Hi, it might be worth contacting the dye manufacturers for advice? Hope you can get it out.0

I have not tried either of these suggestions so would def do a patch test in an inconspicuous area first:
1. Anti dandruft shampoo fades dyed hair so might also fade the stain on your sofa?
2. Hairdressers use a wipe on 'stuff' to remove dye from your face if they get some on you - try asking in a local salon and see if you can buy a small amount to try0 -

So you would be quite happy putting in a false claim then?0
